Peterson Energy Logistics

Peterson have kindly given our club a substantial donation to go towards the purchase of one of our new surf skis and additional club equipment. This donation will have a huge impact on our club by allowing us to replace our old and failing surf skis, that are well overdue replacement.

” As a proud stakeholder at the Port of Aberdeen, we are delighted to support ASLSC. As we see the beach community continue to develop, the club will play a critical part in keeping our beaches safe and educating all beachgoers who use them in how to navigate the waters safely”

The Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen

A generous donation from the Trades Widows Fund Charity has meant we can also replace a second surf ski and purchase extra equipment for our club. It can sometimes be difficult to justify spending a lot of club money on a single item, so donations like these really go along way towards replacing big bits of kit which will last for many years to come.

Aberdeen Health Improvement Fund

This year we were recipients of a large grant from the HIF. This money will be used towards purchasing new wetsuits, training manikins and a junior surf ski, so that we have brand new equipment for our juniors and nippers. Having a fleet of wetsuits means more children from all across Aberdeen can participate in lifesaving !

Subsea 7 Employee charity fund

A successful internal application to Subsea7 saw us given additional funds this year. These have been used for our IRB maintenance costs and swimming pool lane hire for the winter season.

InterMoor

Our plans for 2023 have been given a huge boost from an incredibly generous donation by Aberdeen-based InterMoor, a world leader in mooring technologies supplying the marine industry.

InterMoor have kindly stepped in to help us purchase both our patrol kit for the 2023 season, keeping our volunteer lifeguards warm and dry whilst on patrol. If that wasn’t enough, the donation also covers the purchase of enough training rash vests to cover our regular training and our up coming kids club. The rash vests are essential to keep everyone visible in the water and help to promote our club and make it clear we are doing training exercises.
